Just for my own knowledge, would anyone willing to partake in the YGO/GX RP want to play/use canon characters, or should I drop them all together, for something pure and original?

Hmm, I find playing without Cannons can sometimes be more fun then actually playing with them. Just my personal experience.

Alright. That's one. Though myself and Lyon are playing two of the main canons from GX. That might be the height of it, unless someone else wants to app someone.

I was gonna suggest dropping all Canons from the room for Yu-Gi-Oh, ie, the room is a third series in the anime alltogether with a completely new cast, and the characters from the previous series are legends only mentioned in passing

Well, its a little late for that, seeing that myself and Lyon have already apped for Jaden and Johan. Others can come in if they want, but I'm basing this solely on something we've already done previously.
Its just not going to be over-run with canon, either.
